Gal Gadot, the actress for Wonder Woman, has revealed a brand new poster for the new DC movie.
The poster features Wonder Woman surrounded by an array of different colours, as she appears prepared for battle.
It also has the words: “Power, Grace, Wisdom, Wonder” – which maybe give an insight into the tone of the film.
The release of this picture is sure to fuel more anticipation from DC fans.
Gal posted the image via Twitter to which she tweeted: “A dream come true! Happy to finally share this with you all ???? #brandspakingnew #WonderWoman #WWxSDCC.”
It will be the first female led superhero movie to be featured on the extended DC universe.
The movie is based on the Amazonian princess and is set way before Batman V Superman.
The official plot synopsis reads:
“Wonder Woman hits movie theaters around the world next summer when Gal Gadot returns as the title character in the epic action adventure from director Patty Jenkins. Before she was Wonder Woman, she was Diana, princess of the Amazons, trained to be an unconquerable warrior.
“Raised on a sheltered island paradise, when an American pilot crashes on their shores and tells of a massive conflict raging in the outside world, Diana leaves her home, convinced she can stop the threat. Fighting alongside man in a war to end all wars, Diana will discover her full powers… and her true destiny.”
It’s heavily expected that new details and footage of the film will be released today (June 23) at the Hall H panel as no official trailer has been released yet. The event will likely feature Gal Gadon herself.
Wonder Woman will be released to cinemas June 2, 2017.
